Knight Theory™ is a boutique brand and web design studio for businesses with something to say.

About Us

When’s the last time you’ve shopped around the internet for something specific?

Let’s say you’re looking for a shirt for a date night.

→ One website you find has a great shirt, but the site’s branding feels off, the website is buggy, and you just don’t trust it, so you click away.

→ The next website shows up cohesively on their website and socials, really sells the shirt organically, pulls you in, and exudes confidence in the quality of their shirt.

You’d probably buy a shirt from the second website; right?

That’s why cohesive branding and digital presence is crucial for any business.

But here’s the thing: most “good” design agencies make things way too complicated. Long timelines, bloated teams, and months of waiting just to feel proud of your brand.

That’s exactly why Knight Theory™ exists.

Founded from a mixture of experience (and appreciation) of service and hospitality, to years of leading high-level creative marketing and design at industry giants, we package premium design into fast, focused sprints: so more businesses can grow, earn, and stand out without losing quality (or patience).

Because great design doesn’t have to be slow, stuffy, or reserved for the few—it should be sharp, soulful, and ready to help you shine.

We don’t just build websites—

we build your presence.

You’ve outgrown the patchwork fixes and now you’re ready for a digital identity that actually feels like you. Our work is made for the founder who wants to be seen clearly, hired confidently, and remembered long after the first click.

The Knight Theory™ website experience grounds your message, sharpens your positioning, and helps you show up as the leader your industry has been waiting for.

Because something as rooted as having a beautiful website and brand identity can make you more unstoppable than you think.

What We Live By

Expertise.

We operate under one motto: expertise creates quality. Good design is spawned from dedication and a trained creative eye, and we pride ourselves on always nurturing both.

Feelings-First.

We believe people buy emotion before logic. Your brand should feel something, not just look pretty.

Respect.

Knight Theory™ is proudly woman and black-owned. We’re here to build brands that honor where you’ve been and support where you're headed. Everyone is welcome.

Speed, Without Sacrifice.

Long timelines can often ruin momentum. We built a sprint model to deliver premium, strategic design in days instead of months.

Creative Director, Lead Designer, and Founder

Kyler Thompson

Many years before I was building brands, I was building trust in the service industry myself—across restaurant floors, bar tops, open houses, and client calls. I learned what worked, and how to listen, anticipate, and serve. That hospitality-first mindset has shaped my every creative endeavor.

Professionally, I’ve spent years crafting stories as a copywriter for agencies and founders, a UX/UI and web designer, and then as a content marketing manager and brand strategist for B2B companies, startups, and household tech giants like Amazon Web Services.

No matter the industry, one truth kept popping up: the strongest brands are the ones that know who they are, and have the courage to evolve.

Ding ding—Knight Theory™ is where it all comes together!

Named after my late mother (the original visionary in my life) and surprisingly not after a love of chess, this studio is a tribute to her contagious passion for forging your own path. It’s built for businesses who care deeply about how they show up, and who deserve access to quality design without large-agency craziness.

My role here is simple: help you see your brand clearly, then bring it to life — fast, intentional, and yes, with a few jokes along the way.

P.S. The studio having the same initials as my own name is a happy, convenient coincidence!
