1-Day Web Design Sprint

The Light Knight™ is a website project built for momentum—a streamlined, high-impact Squarespace website in a day experience that helps founders or eager-to-scale businesses show up like the premium brand they are.

We dedicate an entire day of design to your brand in order to develop a fully aligned brand style and 5-page website presence that feels intentional, elevated, and ready to launch.

This is for founders who need a website that matches their growth instead of their starting point yesterday.

Less Perfect If…

✖ You need intensive brand identity design outside of the essentials (illustrated logo, patterns, messaging, etc.)

✖ Your business has complex backend needs (shops, large blogs, etc.)

✖ You prefer spaced-out project timelines due to a busy schedule

✖ You need more than 5 web pages (go for The Full Court™ instead)

HOW IT WORKS

01. PRE-MATCH ONBOARDING

You'll be invited to a comprehensive client portal for onboarding, where you’ll be able to upload any existing brand assets and website copy, create your inspiration moodboard, and schedule your optional strategy call before we dive into your sprint day.

02. SPRINT DAY

We sprint! To kickoff your website in a day project, we start by crafting your logo (if you don’t have one already), custom color palette, and font pairings before getting your sign-off on this visual direction.

Once approved, we refine your website copy and begin building your 5-page website while continuing to develop your brand visuals along the way. You'll get plenty of sneak peeks and real-time updates throughout the day.

Final review and approval happens in the last two hours of the day so you walk away with a ready-to-launch brand style and website!

03. LAUNCH

You're launch-ready, but we're still here—enjoy the peace of mind that comes with 7 days of post-launch support for any final tweaks or questions as you start showing off your new brand to the world. As a Knight Theory client, you’re able to book a mini-package at a later date if you ever need more webpages added!

FAQs

QUESTIONS? WE’VE GOT ANSWERS

  • We often work with hospitality and service brands (think boutique hotels, cafes, retreats, entrepreneurs, spas, coaches, personal brands, and creative spaces.)

That said, all are welcome here, from couples needing a wedding website to content creators sharing recipes! We’re always open to working with anyone who’s ready to inspire. If your vision is thoughtful and in need of design, we’d love to hear from you!

  • A wordmark logo is a text-only design using your brand’s name—no symbols, icons, or illustrations. Think Google, Coca-Cola, or even Knight Theory™: their typography makes them instantly recognizable.

Wordmarks are clean, versatile across digital and print, and avoid trendy styles that date quickly.

At Knight Theory™, we craft polished wordmark logos for founders who want a professional identity fast, with the option to expand into full brand design later.

  • Brand styling is a light version of full brand identity work. It includes curated fonts, colors, and a set of brand keywords to define your visual direction — but not full messaging, logo suites, or illustrations.

It’s perfect if you don’t need the whole nine yards, just a strong, cohesive look and feel to carry across your website and marketing.

  • It’s done for ease. By knowing the general cost, deposit, and exact deliverables you’ll receive, our clients are able to plan accordingly and we’re able to better streamline our services. Our two creative packages are thoughtfully priced to reflect the in-depth strategy, creative direction, and incredible value delivered with every project.

If you’re not sure what to choose, please reach out. We’re always happy to provide a package recommendation once we’ve fully learned more about your goals!

  • Great question!

While The Queen’s Gambit is a (really good) hit TV mini series, at Knight Theory, the Gambit is our internal strategy session where we map out your goals, brand energy, audience needs, and design direction before the sprint officially kicks off. It’s our way of making sure that once your dedicated design day begins, we’re designing both fast and smart.

While the Gambit is typically an internal process, we know that some clients love to connect live beforehand. If you’d like to talk through your onboarding materials, ask questions, or share ideas in real time, you'll be able to book a pre-sprint Gambit Call with us!

  • Yes—because we’ve built systems that make it possible!

This sprint model isn’t slapped together. It’s been carefully refined to deliver high-level strategy and design in a tight, focused window. After your Gambit, by the time we hit day one of your sprint, we’ve already aligned on your goals, gathered what we need, and mapped out the plan. That means we can move fast without sacrificing quality.

The semi-custom aspect of the web design process (meaning working off of a very baseline template) keeps things still unique to you while saving you time and money. Custom websites are incredibly pricey, hard to maintain, and not always accessible to business owners!

Getting professional results doesn’t have to mean slow turnaround times, and we'’ve spent ages perfecting our process so you can skip the 10-week email chains and get to the good stuff faster.

  • Designs are primarily done in Figma, Adobe, and Canva, and websites are developed on the no-code platform Squarespace.

Why? No-code tools like Squarespace have beautiful, robust customization capabilities (with code being optional) but most importantly, it’s incredibly easy for clients to maintain after we’ve handed off the final product.

(Pssst….we have an exclusive Squarespace discount for clients! Check out our resources page.)

  • We love thinking ahead. Once you book your sprint, you’ll get access to your client portal with a checklist of everything we’ll need from you ahead of sprint day. Here’s what to expect to share:

    • A client questionnaire

    • Any existing brand assets (logos, photos, etc.)

    • Website copy (via a guided form to help you write section by section)

    • Links to inspiration, competitors, or moodboards (optional but helpful)

    • Access to your domain registrar

You’ll get step-by-step instructions so nothing slips through the cracks, and we’re always here if you have any questions!

  • During offboarding, you’ll receive a short video walking you through your website and how to make simple changes, as well as exclusive access to the Knight Theory Help Center, a client-only hub where you can find all our training videos, editing tutorials, and bonus resources in one place.

Think of it as your ongoing support lounge: whenever you need to refresh, update, or double-check how something works, you’ll have a trusted place to go. New videos are added all the time.

Each project also includes 7 days of free post-launch support to ensure everything runs smoothly! This covers minor bug and responsiveness fixes, and quick tech questions related to your site or brand files. It doesn’t include major design changes, new pages or features, copy rewrites, or ongoing content updates.
